The influence of Asian martial arts philosophy on Management philosophy
Arthur Roustin (Auteur)
The objective of this dissertation is to establish the influence of traditional Asian martial arts philosophy on management philosophy. In order to carry out this study, the dissertation was built around previous academic research. As there was very little research on this particular subject, the research used was independently focused on the subject of Asian martial arts and management philosophies. The purpose of the study was therefore to take an overview of the current state of research in this field and, above all, to compare the different points of view.
To make the analysis as clear as possible, it is divided into six parts, each representing an aspect of management that has been influenced by Asian martial arts. These aspects are leadership, continuous improvement, ethics, knowledge management, adaptability and self-control.
This analysis tends to demonstrate that the influence of martial arts on today's management philosophy not only enables a better understanding of a company's needs and strengths, but also maximizes profits through more effective management.
