In a capitalist world the main topic is money. So, the main question is “how to earn more money”?
The main objective here is to try to understand customers can get influenced and how some company can spend a big part of their budget in marketing to try to use the weakness of the human psychology. Because, to avoid any problem we need to understand the problem. Here I will explain impartially how companies the human brain to influence their choices.
The money is the thing which allows you to get what you want but, this is not the only way to get what you want. The other way is, to have power. Is it the last thing which help you to get what you want? Of course not. The last thing which allows you to get what you want you want is the intelligence. If you have money, you pay and you buy the thing that you want, if you cannot buy it, you use your power to influence and you get what you want, sometimes, even the money and the power cannot help you to get what you want. In this case, you must use your intelligence to get it. In almost 90% of cases, you get what you want when you use one of those 3 ways. Nice, but if the thing that you want is in the 10% what will you do? You mix those 3 ways in business, and you get the psychology in a marketing world. In this thesis we will talk about the psychologic price, the influence of power (for example: Elon Musk) and the psychologic words, colours, and technics to influence people. The objective is to see how the psychology is used in business, and to think if it is ethic or not. To explain that we will search how works the human brain and how works the marketing in general. To continue, we will see what happened when we try to influence the human brain and perception to accomplish marketing objectives. In the last part, we will try to find if it is ethic or not.
So, we saw that the human brain has automatism and can get influenced, the marketing world tries and do use this automatism to reach his goal. We understood that this power and technics must be used in a right way. To conclude, we can understand that the humans can be influenced but the main question is that the person or the company who influence them have good or bad intention?
