Since the late Qing Dynasty, Chinese culture has always been at a competitive disadvantage in cross-cultural communication and exchanges between China and the West. Western scholars have a very limited understanding of Chinese culture, and it is more difficult for ordinary people to understand and accept Chinese culture. Because of the lack of information, misunderstanding of Chinese culture, the Stereotypes about China have always existed. However, in recent years, the traditional Chinese New Year has gradually spread in Europe, especially in France As the traditional Chinese cultural festival most respected by the Chinese, Not only the Chinese living in France but also the local people in the local area have shown great enthusiasm for it. So studying how to promote Chinese culture through the Spring Festival in France can not only strengthen the Chinese identity of overseas Chinese but also help to improve the Chinese image in the eyes of French.
